• Applicants should also be aware that Lecca il Gelato requires 100% upfront funding for a franchise license.
  
  
• The ideal candidate should be able to motivate staff and work well with customers. Individuals with no business experience will be considered once they have been evaluated. All franchisees will undergo ten days of training and will be assisted in the recruitment and training of staff.
  
  
• Lecca il Gelato is currently not a member of the Franchising Association of Southern Africa (FASA) but all agreements, documents and manuals used are based on FASA standards. Lecca il Gelato will in due course apply for FASA accreditation.
  
  
• Lecca il Gelato will assist the franchisee with the selection and negotiation process to secure a retail outlet. It should be remembered that Lecca il Gelato is a consumer-driven company, and that consumer satisfaction is our number one priority.
  
  
• The professionalism, appearance and attitude of Lecca il Gelato staff is of utmost of importance at all times.
  
  
• The terms and conditions relating to the termination, renewal, goodwill and assignment of a franchise is illustrated and summarised in the Franchise Agreement document (available on request).
